Ruger celebrates its 60th anniversary

For the 60th anniversary of the 10/22 rifle, the Ruger company has prepared for us the sixth edition of the collector's series. The rifle has undergone a series of graphic modifications that have improved its appearance and given it a completely new look. The SR1911 pistol also got a brand new look, its limited edition was created for the diamond anniversary of this ageless classic.

At the beginning of January, the Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. company presented the sixth edition of the Ruger collectible series. This time it's the 10/22 Carbine, which was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this timeless carbine. The mentioned sixth edition of the Ruger collector series is truly an unusual piece, and thanks to it, you are offered a unique opportunity to start a collection of 10/22 carbines, to buy a new member to the existing collection or simply to celebrate the round 60th anniversary of this timeless rifle.

The rifle has a stainless steel barrel and silver painted upper receiver combined with a gray Magpul Hunter X-22 stock. Fans of engraving will certainly not leave empty-handed. The designers really cared about the appearance of the anniversary rifle. A unique 60th anniversary marking is laser engraved on the blackened finish. The elegant design of the rifle is complemented by the red design of the charging handle and trigger.

If you don't like a lot of changes at once, don't worry. Key features of the 10/22 remain unchanged. For example, the front non-glare lamella sight, the ghost ring adjustable rear sight, the extended magazine slide and the Picatinny rail are still in place and ready to improve your shooting experience. You can also look forward to a cross-bolt manual safety and a cold-forged 1/2"-28 threaded barrel that allows the use of popular recoil compensators. These pistols feature a detailed, laser-engraved stock that references Ruger's 75th anniversary. The custom grip panels feature detailed knurling to match the engraved finish. Each pack also includes a 75th anniversary lockable holster with two stainless steel magazines.
