The fourth generation Ruger pistols have one major advantage compared to the second and third generations – the manufacturer has significantly simplified the disassembly system for the weapon. You can easily complete the entire disassembly by pressing a single button.

Simple disassembly

An important feature of the Ruger MK IV Tactical pistol is its simple disassembly. The weapon consists of two parts – the lower and the upper – which are connected by a pin. During disassembly, you only need to flip the upper part of the pistol upward.

For target shooting

The Ruger MK IV Tactical pistol is a popular choice for sports/target shooting. Although this semi-automatic pistol has a .22 LR rimfire caliber and a standard full-size, it is lightweight and ergonomic and also very compact. Not only does it feel good in the hand, but it also looks good.

Adjustable sight and Picatinny 1913

Another difference compared to previous generations of Ruger pistols is the adjustable sight. This is now available as a standard for all Ruger pistol models, and you can easily add other optics using the Picatinny 1913 rail with which the weapon is equipped. The Picatinny rail naturally also serves for mounting additional accessories, such as a weapon light.
