Interchangeable Stock System

The American Rimfire is equipped with Ruger’s interchangeable stock modules. The included standard-length module is optimized for use with optics, and can be quickly swapped by removing the rear sling swivel stud. The rifle is also compatible with Ruger’s compact stock modules, offering shooters flexibility in setup.

Patented Rotary Magazine

The rifle ships with Ruger’s patented flush-mounted 10-round rotary magazine and is fully compatible with all Ruger 10/22^® magazines, including BX-15^®, BX-25^®, and BX-25^® x2. An extended magazine release makes operation quick and simple.

Classic Design, Modern Features

The ergonomic synthetic stock is lightweight, easy to handle, and features modern forend contouring with textured grip surfaces. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger allows shooters to fine-tune pull weight for a clean, personalized break.

Patented Power Bedding^® System

Ruger’s Power Bedding® integral bedding block system precisely locates the action and free-floats the cold hammer-forged barrel. The result is superior accuracy and long barrel life. The threaded barrel comes with a factory-installed muzzle brake, and is also suppressor-ready for the Ruger Silent-SR®.

Safe and Reliable

A visible and easy-to-operate safety adds confidence in handling. The 60° bolt throw provides excellent scope clearance, while the easy bolt release allows quick removal without pulling the trigger. An installed aluminum Picatinny scope rail makes mounting optics simple and secure.
