Flexible plate carrier

The Tasmanian Tiger^® plate carrier QR LC IRR is a lightweight yet highly durable plate carrier from Tasmania Tiger^®. Its main advantage is high comfort, which is ensured by adjustable shoulder straps with removable padding. So you can easily add additional padding if needed. The sides are made of elastic materials that increase comfort, flexibility and freedom of movement.

Reliable fastening

The ROC (Rapid Open Connector) system is responsible for unzipping the vest, which enables quick and silent zipping/unzipping. This is an innovative system that in many ways surpasses the classic velcro fastening. The quick-release buckles do not make noise during handling. In addition, they are much more reliable than Velcro, which loses its functionality over time, either due to frequent use or dirt that gets caught in it.

Modernized release system

ROC buckles can be found on the sides and shoulders of the carrier. In crisis situations, it is not a problem to simply "throw away" the vest. Discarding is easy and quick. Compared to classic release systems, the ROC system has a huge advantage - you don't have to reassemble it again. After releasing, simply reattach the clips and everything is ready for further use. No more complicated and lengthy threading of steel cables. Everything is more intuitive that way, and you don't have to think about whether you're really going to throw the vest away, because you don't want to reassemble the entire release system.

Complex ballistic protection

The size of the carrier is designed for SK 4 plates. Ballistic plates can be placed not only in the back and front of the carrier, but also in the side parts. The side plates can be inserted into special replaceable panels that you can add or remove as needed. In this way, you can configure the ballistic protection exactly according to your needs.

Masking treatment

The carrier is made of durable CORDURA^® materials with camouflage IRR treatment. The coating reduces reflections in the infrared spectrum, so it masks the equipment from IRR night vision devices. The materials used meet the high standards of the German army and are resistant to mechanical damage, water and tearing.

Storage space

The entire vest is completed with a modern laser-cut MOLLE webbing, thanks to which you can attach other compatible MOLLE equipment to the carrier. Unlike the classic MOLLE webbing, laser-cut MOLLE is more subtle, lighter and also more durable. You can find webbing not only on the front and back of the carrier, but also on the sides. The front side is additionally supplemented with a VELCRO panel in the upper and lower parts. You can also use VELCRO pouches.
