The Safariland Incog X IWB RDS is an inside-the-waistband holster designed for concealed carry of Glock 17 and Glock 19 pistols equipped with a red dot sight. Developed in collaboration with Haley Strategic Partners, it combines a thermoformed Boltaron shell with a microfiber suede exterior, adjustable passive retention and a configurable belt-clip system. This configuration also includes a Mag Caddy for carrying a spare magazine, with independently adjustable retention.
This right-handed configuration is designed for Glock 17 and Glock 19 pistols and accommodates both micro and full-size red dot sights. The holster is designed to provide clearance for establishing a full firing grip before the draw. This variant is intended for pistols without a weapon-mounted light.
The Incog X uses passive retention around the trigger guard and ejection port areas to secure the pistol in the holster. Retention can be adjusted to achieve the preferred balance between security and draw resistance. The included Mag Caddy also features independently adjustable retention, allowing the resistance when drawing the spare magazine to be configured separately.
The holster shell is made from thermoformed Boltaron, a durable material resistant to impact, abrasion and chemicals. Its exterior is wrapped in microfiber suede, providing a softer contact surface against the body and helping improve comfort during extended concealed carry while retaining the rigidity required for consistent holstering and drawing.
The belt clips can be paired with interchangeable concealment shims in three thicknesses: 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8". These allow the position of the holster relative to the body to be fine-tuned and can help reduce printing under a cover garment. The shims can be installed or removed without tools. Flexible tabs on the polymer belt clips make it easier to attach and remove the holster from the belt.
The included Mag Caddy positions a spare magazine alongside the pistol holster, creating an integrated concealed-carry setup. Magazine retention can be adjusted independently to achieve the preferred draw resistance. This keeps the spare magazine securely positioned and readily accessible when needed.
