The EOTech HWS EXPS3-DCR sight brings speed, accuracy and advantage in close proximity. The new sight with Danger Close Reticle (DCR) addresses the common issue of accuracy at short distances while maintaining the ability to reliably aim up to 200 yards (approximately 183 meters). An ideal choice for professionals who do not want to compromise.
At the heart of the EXPS3-DCR is the revolutionary Danger Close Reticle. At first glance, it resembles a classic circle with a dot, but its strength lies in the details. The upper part of the circle has been removed for a cleaner view, and the lower segment has been replaced with a distinctive chevron (V-shaped symbol) – this ensures elevation correction for very close shots, typical of close combat. With a .223/5.56 caliber rifle zeroed at 50 yards, you gain three precise aiming points: for 7, 50 and 200 yards.
The body of the sight is based on the popular EXPS design. It allows shooting with both eyes open, which significantly speeds up target acquisition and maintains peripheral vision – critical for tactical situations. The quick-detach mount with a base raised by 7mm ensures lower 1/3 co-witness with iron sights and quick disassembly without the need for special tools.
The EXPS3-DCR is not lost even at night. It features night vision compatible modes, making it a versatile tool regardless of the time of day. Whether you're aiming at dusk, in the shadow or in complete darkness, the sight will not fail you.
The DCR reticle was created in response to the real needs of armed forces, where a distance error can mean a miss. Thanks to precise height over bore correction and an intuitive interface, the EXPS3-DCR ensures certainty with every shot – even at a distance of a few steps.
