EOTech^® has decades of experience with top-class optics. Originally created as stand alone non-profit organization ERIM (Environmental Research Institute of Michigan) under University of Michigan in 1972 and since then ERIM contributed to intense development. In 1986 ERIM presented holography weapon sight prototypes to the US Army. 

EOTech^® was born 

With ERIM being incubator, in 1995 subsidiary EOTech^® was created to focus on development of holographic technology to small firearms sights and since then we can see constant innovations in EOTech^®. Only one year later, in 1996, EOTech^® introduced first holographic weapon system (HWS) in conjuction with sporting optics brand leader Bushnell. 

Cooperation with army 

In 2001 EOTech^® introduced military and other forces HWS models. Award-winning system started to be used by USSOCOM (US Special Operations), select elite Army units and US Marine Corps. 

Under L-3 Communications

In 2005 EOTech^® acquired by L-3 Communications which is now L3Harris and in 2016 they introduced VUDU brand, oriented on precision rifle scopes with quick and accurate target ranging at all magnification levels. In 2020 EOTech^® separeted from L3Harris and in 2022 started their own product line. 

They acquired Intevac´s Inc Photonics division, a California company, oriented in digital sensor systems and night vision-programs for armies. Same year, EOTech^® launched their first LED based pistol sight called EFLX Mini Reflex Sight for professional and personal use.

Wide range of high-quality optics 

Nowdays, EOTECH^® focuses on the production and, of course, the further development of the high-quality optics. They can offer holographic sights, hybrid sights, magnifiers, rifle scopes, pistol sights, thermal and night vision, and another equipment and accessories.
