Tasmanian Tiger® Chest Rig MKII IRR is a practical chest harness for every situation. Unlike a tactical vest, the chest harness is more flexible, so it does not restrict movement as much and is much lighter. Thanks to its low weight and light "cut", it is comfortable to wear even on hot summer days. The carrier is made of durable CORDURA® materials with camouflage IRR treatment. The coating reduces reflections in the infrared spectrum, so it masks the equipment from IRR night vision devices. The materials used meet the high standards of the German army and are resistant to mechanical damage, water and tearing.
The chest harness is designed to provide the owner with the highest possible comfort. The shoulder straps and hip belt are padded and fully adjustable. It is not a problem to customize all dimensions. In the event that you need increased protection, a ballistic plate can be inserted into the chest protective pocket. If you don't need ballistic protection, you can use the pocket to store documents, maps and other "administrative" equipment.
Two side pockets also come in handy, providing a place to store larger equipment such as a field bottle, first aid kit or other magazines. The side pockets have a practical double-sided zipper. The harness has four pouches compatible with G16, SIG, AUG, M4, M16 and STG magazines. The pouches are secured with an adjustable Velcro fastener. The area under the pouches contains velcro for attaching an identification label, blood type, etc. Almost all parts of the chest harness are supplemented with a MOLLE webbing, thanks to which you can attach other compatible MOLLE equipment to the harness.
If you are looking for a compact, lightweight and durable chest rig, the Tasmanian Tiger® Chest Rig MKII IRR is the right choice.
