Trijicon® RMR® HD Reflex Sight 3.25 MOA Red Dot

The Trijicon RMR HD 3.25 MOA is an open-emitter pistol reflex sight designed for duty, defensive, and competitive use. It combines a crisp 3.25 MOA red dot with a selectable 55 MOA circle, a larger viewing window, forward-facing light sensor, and a forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing. The proven RMR footprint ensures compatibility with a wide range of optics-ready pistols and mounting systems.

RMR HD Platform

Built on the proven Trijicon RMR footprint, the RMR HD is compatible with a wide variety of optics-ready slides, mounting plates, and adapters designed for the RMR pattern. Compared to earlier RMR models, it features a larger viewing window, redesigned controls, a top-loading battery compartment, and a multi-reticle system. Because the housing dimensions differ from previous RMR models, compatibility with certain holsters should be verified before use.

3.25 MOA Dot with Selectable 55 MOA Circle

The optic offers a versatile 3.25 MOA red dot that balances precision and speed. For faster sight acquisition at close range, the dot can be combined with a selectable 55 MOA circle. The larger reference ring helps the eye acquire the reticle more quickly during the draw, recoil recovery, target transitions, and shooting on the move, while the center dot remains the primary aiming point.

Forward-Facing Light Sensor

Unlike traditional automatic brightness systems that measure ambient light around the shooter, the RMR HD uses a forward-facing light sensor that evaluates lighting conditions in the direction of the target. This allows the reticle brightness to better match the actual shooting environment. Manual brightness adjustment is also available, with multiple brightness settings including night vision-compatible levels.

Forged 7075-T6 Aluminum Housing

The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is designed to protect the optic during hard use while directing impacts away from the lens. Tempered glass, an open-emitter design, and waterproof construction rated to 20 m make the RMR HD suitable for demanding operational environments. The optic measures approximately 55 mm in length and weighs approximately 48 g.

Top-Loading Battery

The RMR HD is powered by a single CR2032 battery that can be replaced from the top without removing the optic from the slide. This simplifies battery replacement and helps preserve the existing zero after maintenance. Battery life depends on the selected brightness setting, reticle configuration, and operating conditions.
