New generation carrier

The Sentinel 2.0 carrier from Combat Systems is the result of years of efforts to improve and innovate solutions based on customer/user feedback, primarily from the armed forces and MIL-SIM supporters.This is a new generation of plate carrier.The experience of not only police officers and soldiers, but also contractors and active shooters, has resulted in the whole vest being modified to be better in every way, while maintaining the low weight, comfort and modularity of the original version.The first generation of this carrier was fantastic, but this is even better! At Combat Systems, they went deep into the core of the structure first generation carrier and actually improved everything that could be improved on.

First look, amazing impression

The user will be particularly excited by its low weight, modularity, timeless design, as well as its compatibility with the tactical gear of most of the world's known manufacturers, such as Mayflower, Velocity Systems, Haley Strategic or Blue Force Gear, thanks to a removable front lapel.A big difference from the first generation is the removable male ROC buckle under the front flap.Thanks to the accessories that can be purchased, you can build the carrier exactly to your liking and the requirements of the task. For example, you can add shoulder pads, which increase the comfort of wearing a fully loaded carrier system. To all who are looking for a way to extend their plate rack with an additional area of MOLLE compatible bond.

Peak in the area of materials used

The base of the carrier consists of a fabric Cordura and laminate of two fabrics, which allows the carrier to be fitted with laser cut slits.To ensure maximum comfort and sweat extraction, the inner section is made up of anatomically shaped 3D mesh with Coolmax for moisture control , which is complemented by additional padding from EVA foam, which is removable for ease of maintenance.Comfortable and removable padding is also found on the shoulders with an EVA foam insert and a new look that is even more universal and simple.In addition, the shoulder pads have a number of MOLLE compatible cuttings, for additional equipment attachment options if the wearer still requires them on the carrier.The manufacturer bases itself on the quality of the materials, and therefore most of the materials used are made in the USA and meet the requirements of Mil-Spec.Just no compromises!The carrier reflects the latest technological features and components from the military environment. All materials on the carrier are treated to produce a minimal footprint in the infrared spectrum.

Plates

The carrier is designed for SAPI / ESAPI (ICW) ballistic plates, or plates of similar dimensions.The problem could theoretically arise if you already have defaced plates 25 cm x 30 cm, unhappily popular and faceted in the Army of the Czech Republic.For this size of plate, there is insufficient plate fixation inside the liner due to its different dimensions from SAPI plate shearing, but Combat Systems will soon come up with a solution to this problem as well.The 25 cm x 30 cm sheet can only be worn for the size of the medium carrier M.Sentinel 2.0 also features a pocket on an additional ballistic anti-shrapnel insert of soft armor.A ballistic insert of both soft protection and ESBI hard ballistic plates measuring 15 cm x 15 cm, it is possible to place in a side cummerbund with a plate fixture inside to have a full ballistic vest from the carrier.

Adjustable to needs and circumstances

The core philosophy has been maximum modularity of the carrier since the first generation, and Sentinel 2.0 takes that notion further.The front plate pocket has a newly integrated admin pocket with a spring organizer, which serves not only to keep small and flat things, like a phone or a pencil notebook, but above all is there to remove and replace the shoulder clips.The shoulder buckles are not fixed, but they are held in the admin of the pocket by G-hooks.Other solutions can be purchased and interchanged (ITW Fastex, First Spear Tubes, velcro strap), or combined according to user preferences.

Dropping and reassembling -- quick and quiet

Just using special ROC QRS (= quick release system) is one of the greatest advantages of a Sentinel 2.0 plate carrier.They allow the carrier to be switched on or off noiselessly.Many plate carriers and body armour on the market, are still dealt with a Velcro zip fastening, which not only makes noise when unzipped, but tends to catch dirt on itself and destroy the wearer's clothes when wrongly zipped.Plastic ROC fasteners eliminate the problem entirely.In addition, these buckles offer the ability to quickly jettison the carrier without the need for lengthy re-assembly of the jettison system, as is the case with competing products using straps or steel wire.

Chest rig

The carrier is shipped including a basic MOLLE platform, which has been upgraded to be used as a mini chest rig.With suitable accessories, such as split bar buckles, wearable straps or a Velcro cover, you can easily and quickly create a mini chest rig, ideal for an afternoon on the range.

Front plate bag

The front pocket is designed for SAPI/ESAPI (25 cm x 30 cm i.e. 10" x 12" plates are suitable for size M).It is fitted with a laser cut slit and a integrated admin pocket with a spring organizer.It allows for the replacement of shoulder buckles, as mentioned above.It also offers the option of mounting accessories with QASM buckles or G-hooks, Velcro for fitting ID characters (this has grown over the first version of the carrier) and other double-sided velcro for attaching a wiring or hydration tube. Allows PTT - fitted with straps for the PTT button.The front MOLLE compatible platform delivers the option of using a carrier strap, split bar buckle and Velcro overlay for fitting on a mini chest rig (all sold separately).

Rear plate bag

The back plate pocket is replenished with a handle to carry or to pull an injured comrade to safety.There is also a identification velcro panel 7.5 cm wide and 20 cm to 28 cm long (depending on the size of the carrier) for identification markings - now the Police Department and other components can use the space for identification on the back. At the bottom there is space for circuit size control.

Sideways - cummerbund

The side attachment system has also undergone a change.Here, the manufacturer reached for a compromise, opting to attach a lateral cummerboundary to a combination of flexible shock cords and micro-binding inside the control space on the back of the carrier.The setting is convenient, does not reduce user flexibility regarding freedom of movement and does not restrict their free breathing. There are laser cut slits as well.In this version, the cummerbund has an extra row of slots, increasing the dimensions for ballistics and modularity of the system for attaching additional accessories.As previously stated, the Cummerbund incorporates both soft ballistic and lateral ESBI plates.

The plate carrier comes in multiple sizes, of course.The size of the carrier has nothing to do with the size of your T-shirt.Always choose the size based on the size of the plates you have.If you don't have the plates, the height of the figure is crucial. Select the size from the following table.
