RH Holsters® Frogy OWB Holster for Echelon 4.5″ / Half Sweat Guard

The RH Holsters Frogy is a Kydex OWB holster designed for the HS Produkt / Springfield Armory Echelon with a 4.5″ barrel. Its low-profile construction, integrated pressure element and inward-offset pistol position help draw the grip closer to the body for more discreet carry beneath clothing. The holster is made from a single piece of reinforced 2.5 mm Kydex and features adjustable retention and cant, a half sweat guard and compatibility with a reflex sight.

For the Echelon 4.5″

The holster is vacuum-formed specifically for the HS Produkt / Springfield Armory Echelon with a 4.5″ barrel. Its precisely molded Kydex shell follows the pistol’s contours and holds it in a defined position.

Low-Profile OWB Carry

The Frogy is designed to occupy minimal space on the belt while keeping the pistol close to the body. Its low-profile OWB construction allows the pistol to be concealed beneath a suitable outer garment.

Integrated Pressure Element

A shaped element on the body-facing side fills the space beneath the belt and helps draw the upper portion of the holster and the pistol grip toward the body. This reduces printing beneath clothing.

Inward-Offset Pistol Position

The pistol sits slightly offset within the holster, positioning the grip closer to the body. Together with the pressure element, this helps reduce its outline while maintaining convenient access during the draw.

Reinforced 2.5 mm Kydex

The holster is formed from a single piece of 2.5 mm Kydex. Molded ribs increase structural rigidity and help the shell retain its shape, while hand-finished edges improve comfort during extended wear.

Adjustable Retention and Cant

Adjustment screws allow the holster’s retention to be set according to the user’s preference. The neutral cant is 0°, while repositioning the front belt attachment allows the holster to be tilted forward or rearward.

Half Sweat Guard

The raised rear section partially separates the pistol slide from the body and helps reduce direct contact with perspiration. It also keeps clothing away from the holster opening during reholstering, while the half-height design leaves space for establishing a full firing grip before drawing.

Reflex Sight and Muzzle-Device Compatibility

The holster is cut to accommodate a compatible reflex sight. Its open-bottom design provides clearance for a compatible extended or threaded barrel, thread protector or compensator while also allowing debris to exit the holster.
