Mil-Tec^® products are manufactured and distributed by the German company Sturm Handels GmbH, founded in 1971 in Rottenburg am Neckar. The company specializes primarily in military-style clothing and equipment for outdoor, tactical, and leisure use.

In 1983, Sturm Handels GmbH expanded internationally by opening a branch in the United States. Shortly after German reunification, in 1990, the company established operations in Tangermünde, in former East Germany. This location has since developed into the company’s largest and most important logistics center. With nearly 100 employees, an extensive product portfolio, and more than 50,000 square meters of warehouse space, Sturm Handels GmbH ranks among the major suppliers in the European military and outdoor market.

The company originally focused on genuine military surplus. With the launch of the Mil-Tec^® brand in 1995, it expanded into the development and production of its own line of functional clothing and outdoor gear. Mil-Tec^® products combine practical design inspired by military originals with functionality and durability suitable for a wide range of outdoor and everyday applications.
