The Vortex Crossfire HD 10×42 are binoculars that can handle challenging terrain, changeable weather and long expeditions. They offer a clean, sharp image in a compact body and without unnecessary weight. They are suitable for hiking, hunting and in the car – always ready, always reliable. They play a level higher in this class.
Thanks to an optimized lens system with multiple anti-reflective coatings, the Crossfire HD shows the world as it really is – colorful, contrasting and without optical defects. The image is sharp from edge to edge, whether you are looking at distant animals or birds in the treetops. Vortex has made the most of HD optics in this series.
The rubberized surface fits well in the hand and does not slip, even when it rains or freezes. The rubber eyecups can be adjusted as needed and the entire construction is shockproof, waterproof and nitrogen-filled – no fogging from the inside, no surprises in the field. This piece can withstand a bit of abuse and can even survive rough handling.
The central focusing wheel is precise, smooth and works even with winter gloves. Thanks to the diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece, everyone can adjust it to their own needs – without lengthy tuning. It focuses easily even at shorter distances and does not lose details when observing on the move.
The binoculars are light, compact and stable. When folded, they fit in a backpack, but also in the GlassPak chest case, which is included in the package. Connecting to a tripod or in a car? No problem – the Crossfire HD has that solved too.
Warning: Do not use the binoculars to observe the sun or other sources of intense light. These binoculars are not intended for this and such observation can damage the retina or cornea and in extreme cases can even lead to blindness!
