Schmeisser HUGO 1911 — a premium, all-steel interpretation of the classic 1911 design in .45 ACP. Built to deliver precision fit, robust service life and competition-grade handling, the HUGO blends traditional Single-Action operation with modern enhancements.

Heritage design, precise German engineering

The HUGO 1911 follows the time-proven Colt 1911 Government architecture and is finished to tight tolerances. The pistol features a single-action trigger, an extended (Commander-style) hammer and an ambidextrous thumb safety with enlarged levers for positive manipulation. All-steel construction gives the pistol a solid, balanced feel — the finished weight is just over 1 kg.

Enhanced controls and ergonomics

Front and rear slide serrations provide secure purchase for slide manipulation. A raised, extended ejection port improves case ejection and quick clearing. Grip panels (carbon-fibre style) with aggressive texturing, together with an enlarged beavertail, promote a high, secure grip and effective recoil control.

Barrel, sights and controls

The HUGO ships with a 5" (127 mm) polished stainless-steel barrel in a Government profile. Sighting is handled by LPA^® adjustable rear sight paired with a steel front sight featuring high-visibility dots for fast target acquisition. A Picatinny rail on the forward frame/dustcover allows mounting of lights or laser aiming devices.

Competition-oriented trigger and finish

A skeletonised, competition-tuned trigger reduces overtravel and provides a short, positive reset for fast follow-ups. The slide and frame are finished in a Cerakote^®-style ceramic coating for enhanced surface hardness, corrosion resistance and an even, low-glare appearance.
