Holosun® HE509T-RD X2 FDE Enclosed Pistol Red Dot Sight

The Holosun HE509T-RD X2 FDE is an enclosed-emitter pistol red dot sight with a Grade 5 titanium housing and switchable Multi-Reticle System. Users can select a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a combined circle-dot reticle. The enclosed design protects the emitter from water, dust, and debris. Additional features include Solar Failsafe, Shake Awake, Lockout Mode, and a side-loading CR1632 battery tray. An RMR-to-509T adapter plate is included.

Switchable Multi-Reticle System

The Multi-Reticle System provides three selectable reticle options: a standalone 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a combined 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle. This allows the sight picture to be configured according to the user’s preference and application.

Enclosed Emitter and Titanium Housing

The emitter is enclosed between the front and rear lenses, protecting the light path from water, dust, mud, and other debris. The housing is manufactured from Grade 5 titanium and finished in FDE. The sight has an IP67 rating, and the manufacturer specifies vibration resistance of up to 5,000 G.

Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake

Solar Failsafe provides an additional power source and automatically adjusts reticle brightness according to ambient light when operating in automatic mode. Shake Awake places the electronics into sleep mode after a period of inactivity and reactivates the sight when movement is detected. The memory function restores the previously used settings.

Side-Loading Battery and Extended Runtime

The sight is powered by a CR1632 battery housed in a side-loading tray, allowing battery replacement without removing the optic from the firearm. Battery life reaches up to 50,000 hours at brightness setting 6. The sight provides eight daylight brightness settings and four night-vision-compatible settings.

Lockout Mode and 1 MOA Adjustments

Lockout Mode disables the control buttons to reduce the risk of accidental setting changes during carry or handling. Elevation and windage adjustments use 1 MOA clicks, with an adjustment range of ±30 MOA on each axis. The sight provides true 1× magnification and unlimited eye relief and is described by the manufacturer as parallax-free.

509T Footprint and RMR Adapter

The optic uses the proprietary 509T mounting interface. The included RMR-to-509T adapter plate allows installation on a compatible RMR mounting surface. The package also includes mounting screws, a multifunction tool, cleaning cloth, user manual, and warranty card.

Compact Dimensions

The sight window measures 0.66 × 0.90″. Overall dimensions are approximately 40.6 × 29.5 × 28.7 mm, and the optic weighs approximately 36 g.
