In 2019, the company HS Produkt (under the patronage of Springfield Armory for the American market) introduced the H11 micro-compact pistol with a polymer frame, laying the foundation for a successful line of pistols for everyday carry. The HS Produkt H11 pistols became one of the first true competitors to the P365 model from SIG.
In 2022, the design of the weapon was updated. It was equipped with a larger capacity magazine, and the slide was modified to allow for the mounting of pistol reflex sights. This enhanced line of H11 pistols received the Pro designation.
The HS Produkt H11 pistol (designated as Hellcat under the patronage of Springfield Armory) was named the pistol of the year in 2020 by Guns & Ammo magazine and also received the NASGW-POMA award for the best new pistol of the year 2020.
The HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR is a larger version of the popular micro-compact HS Product H11 pistol. The PRO variant is suitable for shooters with larger hands for whom the classic H11 variant is too small. Due to its sub-compact dimensions, the HS PRO RDR pistol is incredibly lightweight. You will hardly notice it when carrying it all day. However, thanks to the double-stack magazine with increased capacity, it provides a sufficient amount of firepower for handling potential crisis situations.
The HS Produkt H11 PRO PDR pistol is equipped with an innovative magazine release button exchange system. This makes the weapon comfortable to handle for both right-handed and left-handed users.
The HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR pistol is equipped with a red fiber optic front sight as standard and a rear sight with a U-notch highlighted in white.
To aim more easily and quickly with the HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR pistol, you can equip it with a reflex sight compatible with Shield RMS mounting. The mounting of the reflex sight does not require any mounting plates. Simply remove the cover and quickly install the reflex sight.
The HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR pistol has a frame with a mounting rail, a rounded trigger guard and a pronounced beavertail. This, combined with excellent ergonomics, significantly enhances control over the weapon during shooting. The slide of the pistol has aggressive serrations at both the front and rear for safer and more secure handling when cocking the weapon.
The pistol uses a pre-cocked striker system and is equipped with two safeties: a trigger safety and a firing pin block. For additional safety, the HS Produkt H11 PRO PDR pistol includes a chamber-loaded indicator.
The company was founded as IM Metal in 1991 in Croatia. At the beginning of 2001, after the success of the HS2000 pistols in the global market, the company changed its name to HS Produkt. In 2007, HS Produkt began cooperating with Springfield Armory. Thanks to this strategic collaboration, the company quickly became the largest importer of handguns to the U.S. market.
Founders and co-owners of HS Produkt, Ivan Žabčić and Marko Vuković, are both mechanical engineers. Vuković is the main designer of most weapons. He also has combat experience as a veteran of the Croatian War of Independence, during which he was wounded twice. In 2016, HS Produkt was one of the contenders in the competition to replace the FAMAS rifles in the French army.
