The key advantages of the Walther PDP F-Series pistols include their ergonomic design and excellent adaptability to the individual needs and habits of the shooter. These weapons also boast a smooth operation and are easy to handle.
Walther PDP pistols feature perfect factory craftsmanship, which is also true for the F-Series. This series, regardless of the barrel length, brings innovations that are appreciated primarily (but not exclusively) by female shooters. Compared to the standard PDP model, F-Series pistols are better ergonomically suited to the female hand.
The manufacturer has redesigned the grip ergonomics of the F-Series pistols according to the biomechanics of female hands. Thus, shooters do not have to adapt to the firearm – the weapon adapts to them. Despite the ergonomic changes, the F-Series pistols remain chiefly PDP – Performance Duty Pistols, meaning high-performance service pistols.
However, the PDP F-Series pistols are far from being designed only for service purposes; they are also intended for personal defense or sports shooting. The patented F-Series control system also includes a shorter trigger reach, an adjusted and perceived lower recoil and a shorter reset.
The massive slide of the weapon features enlarged SuperTerrain serrations, which simplify handling the pistol. Among other things, they make it much easier to handle with or without gloves, or even with sweaty hands, in any weather. The ergonomic grip has a pyramidal surface structure.
All Walther PDP series pistols are prepared for the installation of pistol reflex sights – they are so-called Optics Ready. They are equipped with a cover plate for the reflex sight base, which can simply be unscrewed to install pistol reflex sights from virtually any major manufacturer of weapon optics.
Walther PDP F-Series pistols come standard with white dot sights, specifically a low adjustable rear sight in both axes and a prismatic front sight. We must also mention the Picatinny 1913 mounting rail, to which you can easily attach additional weapon accessories, thereby increasing the utility of your weapon in various scenarios. Modularity is also enhanced by interchangeable backstraps.
One of the advantages of the Walther PDP F-Series pistols is the smooth operation of the innovative Performance Duty Trigger, which is defined by a very gentle, smooth action with a short reset. This trigger is generally rated as the best trigger in its class.
