In 2019, HS Produkt (under the auspices of Springfield Armory for the American market) introduced the micro-compact pistol with a polymer frame H11, laying the foundation for a successful series of everyday carry pistols. The HS Produkt H11 pistols thus became one of the first true competitors to SIG's P365 model.
The semi-automatic pistol HS Produkt H11 RDR TB is equipped with a threaded barrel fitted with a self-indexing compensator. This enhances weapon control during rapid firing or double shots. The manufacturer states that the thread is only intended for compensators, not for sound silencers.
In 2022, the design of the weapon was updated. It was equipped with a higher capacity magazine and the slide was modified to allow the installation of pistol optics. This enhanced range of H11 pistols received the suffix Pro.
The HS Produkt H11 pistol (designated as Hellcat under the patronage of Springfield Armory) was declared the pistol of the year 2020 by Guns & Ammo magazine and additionally received the NASGW-POMA award for best new pistol of the year 2020.
Thanks to the materials used and its micro-compact dimensions, the HS Produkt H11 RDR TB pistol is incredibly lightweight. When carrying it all day, you will barely notice it. However, thanks to its double-stack magazine, it provides sufficient firepower to handle a potential crisis situation.
The HS Produkt H11 RDR TB pistol is equipped with an innovative magazine catch button exchange system. This makes the weapon comfortable to handle for both right-handed and left-handed users.
The pistol uses a striker-fired design and is equipped with two safeties: a trigger safety and a striker block. The HS Produkt H11 RDR TB pistol also has a chamber load indicator for added safety.
The semi-automatic HS Produkt H11 RDR TB pistol features a gun frame with a mounting rail, a rounded trigger guard, and a pronounced beavertail for such a small pistol. Combined with excellent ergonomics, this significantly increases weapon control during firing. The pistol slide has aggressive serrations on both the front and rear for more secure and safer handling when cocking.
The semi-automatic HS Produkt H11 RDR TB pistol comes standard with a red fiber optic front sight and a U-notch rear sight highlighted in white.
To aim the HS Produkt H11 RDR TB pistol more easily and quickly, you can equip it with an optic compatible with the Shield RMS mount. Installing an optic requires no mounting plates. Simply remove the cover and install the optic.
The company was founded as IM Metal in 1991 in Croatia. At the beginning of 2001, after the success of the HS2000 pistols in the global market, the company changed its name to HS Produkt. In 2007, HS Produkt began collaborating with Springfield Armory. Thanks to this strategic partnership, the company quickly became the largest importer of firearms to the American market.
The founders and co-owners of HS Produkt, Ivan Žabčić and Marko Vuković, are both mechanical engineers. Vuković is the chief designer of most firearms. He also has combat experience as a veteran of the Croatian War of Independence, during which he was wounded twice. In 2016, HS Produkt was one of the competitors bidding to replace the FAMAS rifles in the French army.
