The CZ 457 in the Synthetic variant is designed for adverse climatic conditions. As the name suggests, the rifle's stock this time is not wooden but plastic – specifically made of an exceptionally strong polymer with a soft-touch coating.

The stock design of the CZ 457 Synthetic model is the same as the CZ 557 series rifles. The ergonomics of the stock ensure comfortable handling for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. There has been a noticeable reduction in weight for this model – the rifle with an empty polymer magazine holding five rounds weighs only 2.4kg.

Maximum safety

Safety features of this rifle include a positive safety on the right side of the housing and a separate bolt removal controller, which ensure maximum safety when handling CZ 457 series weapons. The quiet, positive safety contributes to safe and comfortable handling of the weapon. The mentioned controller also allows for easy disassembly of the weapon for cleaning.

Additional safety features

However, this is not all for the safety features of this weapon. Additionally, it is possible to open the bolt even with the safety engaged, allowing you to check the weapon's condition or unload it safely at any time without having to disengage it. The tensioned firing mechanism of the weapon is reliably detected by an indicator, which can be checked visually and by touch.

Adjustable trigger mechanism

The adjustable trigger mechanism satisfies the individual needs of the shooter. The trigger pull is factory set to 12 N but can be adjusted within a range of 8 - 15 N. The trigger travel is adjustable within a range of 0.5 - 5mm.

Lightened firing pin

Compared to the previous model, the firing pin is lightened by a substantial 62%. This modification spares the weapon from even the smallest vibrations, which could affect your shooting accuracy. The firing pin's durability during dry training is a given.

New bedding type

The attachment of the mechanism in the stock has been improved with a new type of bedding. This significantly contributes to its long-term accuracy and stability. It largely eliminates the impact of wood's expansion as a material under various temperature conditions on the sighting and accuracy of the weapon. It will thus remain sighted for longer and allow for truly precise shots.

Shortened bolt rotation

The user is guaranteed comfortable, smooth and fast reloading of the weapon by the 60º shortened bolt rotation. Combined with mounted optics, you will handle the weapon readily in any situation. Other advantages of the CZ 457 series weapons include interchangeable stocks with a wide range of shape and material options with a strong emphasis on ergonomics and shooting comfort.

Easy barrel exchange

In the CZ 457 family of small-caliber rifles, the modular system has been improved so that it is possible to use barrels of various calibers from the previous CZ 455 model series and change them through miniset kits. Thus, you can easily adapt the weapon to your needs.
