The CZ 457 LUX rimfire rifle in the style of a classic European hunting rifle features a lacquered stock made from quality Turkish walnut. A solid grip is ensured by the cheek piece and laser-etched textured surfaces on the gripping areas. The mechanical sights on the thin-walled barrel, which is 630mm long, provide comfort and accuracy while shooting.

Positive safety catch and bolt extraction control

The quiet, positive safety catch contributes to safe and comfortable handling of the firearm. This allows the user to have an extremely natural and intuitive control. The bolt can be extracted from the receiver without needing to pull the trigger. The bolt can be removed comfortably and safely with a well-accessible control that allows the user to easily disassemble the firearm for cleaning.

Additional safety features

The bolt can be opened even with the safety engaged, allowing for safe checking of the firearm's condition or unloading it without disengaging the safety. The cocked firing mechanism is reliably detected by the warning indicator, which can be checked visually and by touch.

Adjustable trigger mechanism

The adjustable trigger mechanism satisfies the individual needs of the shooter. The trigger pull is factory preset at 12 N, but can be adjusted within a range of 8 - 15 N. The trigger travel is adjustable within a range of 0.5 - 5mm.

Lightened firing pin

The firing pin is considerably lightened by 62% compared to the previous model. Thanks to this modification, the firearm is spared even the slightest vibrations that could affect your shooting accuracy. The durability of the firing pin during dry training is guaranteed.

New type of bedding

The attachment of the mechanism in the stock is improved with a new type of bedding. This significantly contributes to its long-term accuracy and stability. To a large extent, it eliminates the effect of wood expansion as a material under various temperature conditions on the shot pattern and accuracy of the firearm. It remains zeroed for a longer period, allowing for truly precise shots.

Shortened bolt rotation travel

Comfortable, smooth and rapid reloading is ensured for the user by the 60º shortened rotation travel of the bolt handle. In combination with mounted optics, you will handle the firearm quickly in any situation.

New ergonomic stocks

The CZ 457 series of small-caliber rifles offers a wide range of options, shapes and stock materials with a strong emphasis on ergonomics, comfort and shooter convenience.

Easy barrel exchange with caliber change option

The modular system in the CZ 457 family of small-caliber rifles is enhanced so that barrels of different calibers from the previous CZ 455 series can be used, as well as being interchangeable via mini-sets. The firearm can thus be easily adapted to your needs.
