The Combat Systems IIIA Hanger Drop Down soft ballistic insert provides certified pistol-caliber and fragmentation protection in the front section of a plate carrier. Made from UHMWPE Honeywell Spectra Shield, it remains thin, flexible and lightweight while meeting demanding operational requirements.

Level IIIA Protection to NIJ 0101.04

The insert is certified to NIJ 0101.04 Level IIIA, providing protection against common handgun calibers. It also meets the STANAG 2920 standard with a V50 fragmentation resistance of 606 m/s, covering a wide range of threats encountered in real field operations and service environments.

High-Strength UHMWPE Construction

The core is made from American-made UHMWPE Honeywell Spectra Shield, known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and flexibility.
