The Vanquish 8×26 from Vortex is the ideal companion for trips where every gram counts. A compact body, a surprisingly wide field of view and a sharp image even in adverse conditions. It fits in a backpack pocket and can do more than its size suggests. When you don't want to carry unnecessary weight, but still want to see everything up close.
Inverted porro-prismatic lenses with modern FMC treatment will ensure a maximum sharp and contrast image. Light passes through the optics with minimal loss, so even in poor lighting conditions the image is clean, bright and true to color. And when you focus, you will see details that you would otherwise miss.
Vanquish takes up almost no space, it easily fits into a smaller bag or backpack. It weighs little, holds securely and can be operated comfortably with one hand. The rubberized surface with a coarser texture will not slip out of your hand even when wet. Whether in fog, rain or frost – you can count on reliability.
Focusing is precise and fast thanks to the central control. Dioptric correction allows adjustment to each eye. The eyecups are retractable, so the binoculars can be used comfortably even with glasses. The exit pupils can be adjusted to the distance between your eyes, so the image sits exactly where it should.
The construction is waterproof, shockproof and filled with nitrogen, so it does not fog up inside even with sudden changes in temperature. The rubber casing absorbs shocks and protects in the field. And when you are not looking, just store it in the Velcro case, where it will be safe even during transport.
Warning: Do not use the binoculars to observe the sun or other sources of intense light. These binoculars are not intended for this and such viewing can damage the retina or cornea and in extreme cases can even lead to blindness!
