Mechanical system for controlled tightening

The tourniquet uses a mechanical system that helps achieve effective occlusion and maintain the required pressure. The wider 2" strap supports occlusion at lower applied pressure while improving user comfort. The no internal band design simplifies slack removal and allows for quick reset and reapplication.

Dual locking system and clear securing feedback

The TMT features two securing mechanisms that help reduce slippage and pressure loss. A double-routed speed buckle combined with a hook-and-loop strap ensures firm tightening, while an audible click confirms proper locking of the windlass. This supports confident and controlled handling even under stress.

Easy application, including trapped limbs

The quick-disconnect buckle allows for fast application without complex threading and helps prevent incorrect routing of the strap. This also enables application on a trapped limb. The design supports one-handed use and is optimized for situations where time is critical.
