The ESP ExBO-21H 21″ Hardened Expandable Baton is designed for professional duty use. Its hardened telescoping steel shafts provide high resistance to bending, while the Friction Lock mechanism secures the baton in the extended position through tapered friction surfaces. The textured Type H rubber grip supports secure handling. This version is supplied without a holster.
The baton uses hardened telescoping steel shafts designed for high mechanical strength and resistance to bending. It measures 530 mm when extended and 210 mm when collapsed. Its weight is 440 g.
A rapid swing extends the telescoping shafts and locks their tapered contact surfaces together through friction. The baton is collapsed by releasing the lock with a vertical strike of the tip against a hard, solid surface.
The Type H rubber grip features a pronounced non-slip texture that promotes a secure hold and reduces the risk of the baton being pulled from the user’s hand. According to the manufacturer, the rubber compound is certified for prolonged skin contact.
The steel components are protected by a black nickel-zinc finish that provides good abrasion resistance while maintaining the baton’s discreet black appearance.
The ExBO-21H is supplied without a holster. A compatible model can therefore be selected separately according to the preferred carry position and existing duty equipment.
