The XRG cartridges from Sellier & Bellot (7×64 / 10.2 g - 158 grs) are suitable for hunting big game, both from medium and longer distances. The bullet is made from an alloy of CuZn 10, and has an aluminum tip. There are also 3 grooves on its outer side, which together with thermal and surface treatment reduce barrel wear during the shot.
The bullet remains intact upon impact, resulting in minimal spoilage of the game meat. Only a small hematoma forms around the wound channel, but no fragments remain in the vicinity. Each package contains 20 cartridges. The cartridges are manufactured by Sellier & Bellot, located in Vlašim, representing Czech production.
