Bolle® MY6 Vermillion Replacement Lens

The Bolle MY6 Vermillion replacement lens is designed for MY6 tactical shooting glasses and allows the original lens to be quickly exchanged. Its one-piece polycarbonate construction provides a wide panoramic field of view and meets the ballistic protection requirements of STANAG 2920 and MIL-PRF-32432A. The pink-tinted lens offers 40% visible light transmission and features a PLATINUM coating for increased scratch and fog resistance.

Ballistic Protection

The polycarbonate lens meets the ballistic protection requirements of STANAG 2920 and MIL-PRF-32432A. The manufacturer specifies a V50 ballistic resistance of 238.8 m/s for the Vermillion version. The lens also complies with EN166.

Vermillion Tint for Variable Light

The Vermillion lens features a pink base tint and 40% visible light transmission. It is intended for shooting and tactical use in shaded, covered or variable lighting conditions, where it helps enhance contrast and detail recognition.

Improved Contrast for Orange and Red Targets

The Vermillion filter increases the contrast of orange and red targets against natural backgrounds and supports depth perception. This makes it suitable for shooting training and other activities in changing light conditions.

Wide Panoramic Field of View

The one-piece lens design provides a wide panoramic field of view with minimal obstruction to peripheral vision during active movement.

Quick Lens Replacement

The lens can be quickly exchanged to adapt MY6 glasses to current lighting conditions. Other MY6 replacement lens options include Clear, Copper, Smoke and Amber.

PLATINUM Lens Coating

The PLATINUM coating increases scratch resistance and reduces fogging. This treatment helps maintain a clear field of view during active use and changing environmental conditions.

Not Intended for Driving

The Vermillion lens is not suitable for driving because its color filtration may affect the wearer’s ability to distinguish traffic lights and other colored signals.
