Protection Group® VIP PGD-Ultra 3 v 1 Ballistic vest

Ballistic vest VIP PGD-Ultra 3 in 1 from the Danish company Protection Group is designed for professionals who move in high-risk areas. It's three types of protection in one package - with this vest you get protection against the effects of firearms and stab wounds, plus reduced blunt force trauma.

The highest levels of protection

It is a bulletproof vest that has been tested to the highest levels of protection, NIJ IIIA, while being able to withstand calibers up to .44 Magnum and .357 Sig. In addition, it is a NIJ Level 1 (36 joules) stab protection vest, both knife and nail.

Stronger than steel

The Protection Group PGD-Ultra Ballistic Vest is six times stronger than steel, because it is made from a unique blend of Unidirectional Aramid fibers. It's also more effective than the Protection Group's PGD-Alpha vest, so it's even better at absorbing blunt force trauma energy. It thus protects against blunt objects, such as baseball bats, etc.

Outlast PCM technology

This ballistic vest also boasts Outlast PCM technology. This ensures that the vest can adapt to your body temperature. If you are hot, this technology can get rid of the heat, and conversely, if you are cold, it can warm you up. Outlast PCM technology was originally developed for NASA and allows the vest to be worn for 12 to 14 hours at a time.

Technology, not material

It should be mentioned that Outlast PCM is a technology and not a material used. Traditional sweat-wicking materials help you get rid of heat when you're overheated, i.e. active. But Outlast PCM reacts to body surface temperature. For example, if you are patrolling in a cold environment, it will adapt and help warm you up.

For men and women

The cut of the Protection Group PGD-Ultra ballistic vest is universal, so the vest can be worn by both men and women. The stealthy design, in turn, ensures discretion during covert missions. On the surface of the ballistic vest there is an ultrasonically welded polyurethane cover, which is resistant to water and sweat.

Different sizes

There are six different sizes of the PGD-Ultra ballistic vest, which are compatible with different hard plates on the front and back. Plate compatibility is as follows:

sizes L-XL: M ESAPI

size XXL: 10 × 12, M ESAPI

size XXXL: 10 × 12, M and L ESAPI
