Messerschmitt® 1911 5" pistol / caliber 9×19

The German arms manufacturer Waffen Schumacher aims to implement innovations, reliability and maximum efficiency in its Messerschmitt series of pistols. These are the three key attributes that have made the brand famous. This is also the case with the Messerschmitt 1911 5" pistol in the standard 9×19 mm caliber.

Classic but modern

The Messerschmitt 1911 with a five-inch barrel is a classic semi-automatic 1911 type pistol. However, it boasts innovations and a modern design in stainless steel or black color options. It is available in either a 9×19 mm caliber or, in another variant, in a .45 ACP caliber.

Full size frame

This pistol is full-sized, meaning it uses a full-size frame forged from steel. The front part of the frame features a standard and versatile Picatinny mounting rail, to which you can attach various types of accessories, including flashlights. Even in the standard variant, the pistol is equipped with a flat mainspring housing.

Single action trigger

The Messerschmitt 1911 5" pistol features a standard SA (Single Action) trigger mechanism. The trigger itself and the Commander-type hammer are lightweight, specifically skeletonized. Additional equipment includes an extended beavertail, or grip safety and an extended ambidextrous safety.

Low-profile sights and Novak front sight

The sights that come standard with the Messerschmitt 1911 5" pistol include an adjustable, low-profile LPA TRT rear sight and a Novak steel front sight. The LPA TRT type sight is suitable for sports shooting as well as everyday carry (EDC). Its advantage is also the fact that it can be adjusted in height and laterally. Hardened adjustment screws can be used for setting.

Durable grip panels with texture

A firm and secure grip on the weapon is ensured by durable grip panels with a rougher texture (checkering). They are made from G-10 material and designed so that the pistol does not slip from your hand, even in rain and moisture, or in hot weather when your palms are likely to sweat. The G-10 material is suitable for these purposes due to its properties, including high adhesion, low absorbency and resistance to chemical substances.
