At the beginning of September, we traveled to Kielce, Poland, for the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) 2025. Held from September 2–5, the event reaffirmed its position as the fourth-largest defense trade fair in Europe.

Record Attendance and Defense Industry Innovations

MSPO 2025 hosted 811 exhibitors from 35 countries, along with dozens of government delegations worldwide. It once again proved its status as Europe’s fourth-largest defense exhibition.

The fair showcased cutting-edge defense and security technologies – from heavy ground equipment, radars, and unmanned systems to uniforms, optics, and logistics solutions.

Highlights of this year’s edition included:

  • SC166 – modular packaging for tank ammunition
  • RAF1 – mobile photovoltaic power plant for field operations
  • FIELDctrl Follow 3D – AI-supported MIMO radar for counter-drone defense

The program also featured expert conferences and panel discussions on artificial intelligence applications, cyber defense, and the modernization of air defense systems.

Land, Sea, and Air: Breakthrough Platforms

The exhibition floor saw several major premieres, such as:

  • Rosomak-L – an upgraded 8×8 platform with a Turra 30 turret, SPIKE guided missiles, sniper-detection sensors, and acoustic tracking
  • 2S22 Bohdana – a Ukrainian self-propelled howitzer with a range of over 40 km, fully compliant with NATO standards
  • Bluszcz – an autonomous 4×4 vehicle capable of deploying up to 100 anti-tank mines
  • Stormrider – an unmanned strike boat from WB Group, developed and tested in just nine months

These innovations underscored the industry’s direction towards greater autonomy, digitalization, and integration of AI.

Rigad at the Trade Fair: Meetings and Inspiration

This year, Rigad did not exhibit – our main goal was to explore industry innovations and engage in discussions with partners. We focused on staying up to date with the latest trends, meeting key suppliers, and establishing new connections.

For us, MSPO was an excellent opportunity to draw inspiration from technological advancements, strengthen relationships with existing partners, and gain valuable insights into the evolving defense and tactical landscape.

Conclusion: What Rigad Took Away from MSPO 2025

Attending MSPO Kielce 2025 proved highly beneficial for Rigad, even without a booth of our own. We returned with a wealth of ideas and insights that will help us further refine our portfolio and keep pace with the latest industry trends.
