Classic with a new breath – The Chicom Chest Rig from Helikon-Tex is inspired by the legendary equipment of the Chinese army from the 1940s and brings timeless design to modern tactical gear. Its lightweight and simple layout make it perfect for tight spaces, during CQB (Close Quarters Battle), at the shooting range, and in reconnaissance operations.
Originally created as minimalist equipment for the army, its versatility has made it a staple of the tactical world. From the jungles of Vietnam to Navy SEALS units and current NATO exercises – Chicom remains a reliable partner in the field. Its durable Cordura construction, compact shape and easy customization make it a popular choice for versatile operators.
Three magazine pouches with Velcro fasteners securely hold AK/AR magazines in place. The flaps can also be replaced with the included pull tabs, speeding up access during reloading. Need more space? No problem – with MOLLE/PALS panels inside and out, you can attach additional gear, whether it's grenade pouches, a first aid kit or cargo pouches. The number of magazine pouches can be increased to five.
Under the main panel, there is a flat internal pocket – perfect for documents, maps or VIS (Versatile Insert System) organizers. The front of the harness can be supplemented with a small pouch or first aid kit as needed. The overall construction ensures a great fit to the body, which you will appreciate during dynamic movement in various environments.
