Original rainproof Gore-Tex jacket in camouflage pattern from British Army gear – the jacket is used but 100% functional. Made in MTP camouflage pattern, which is the Multi Terrain Pattern camo used by the British Army, based on the American Multicam Camogrom.
The rainproof functional jacket from the ECWCS system with Gore-Tex membrane features 3 layers of lamination and provides excellent protection against moisture, rain, snow and wind, while also wicking sweat and condensed internal moisture to the outer surface of the material (the water-resistant and breathable membrane has openings large enough to let vapor molecules pass from the inside out, yet small enough to prevent water molecules from passing the other way). Protection against unfavorable weather is also supported by taped seams,
drawstrings at the waist and sleeves, and Velcro-fastened sleeve cuffs.
It can be worn over a regular field uniform or with a fleece jacket in extreme conditions. The jacket is also used as an outer layer in cold and damp weather – it is worn over regular gear.
