Original rainproof Gore-Tex jacket in camouflage pattern from the British army gear – the jacket is used. Made in the MTP camouflage pattern, which stands for Multi Terrain Pattern used by the British army, based on the American Multicam Camogrom. The jacket is primarily used in jungles, forests and other green areas.
The rainproof functional jacket from the ECWCS system with Gore-Tex membrane features 3 layers of lamination, excellently protecting against moisture, rain, snow and wind, while also wicking sweat and condensed internal moisture to the surface of the material (the water-resistant and breathable membrane has sufficiently large openings for vapor molecules to pass from the inside out, but small enough to prevent water molecules from passing in the opposite direction). Weather protection is also supported by taped seams, drawstrings at the waist and sleeves, and a hood with drawstrings.
It can be worn over a regular field uniform or with a fleece jacket in extreme conditions. The jacket is also used as an overcoat in cold and damp weather – worn over regular gear.
