Fox Outdoor Fox 40 winter thermal boots are built for conditions where ordinary footwear has no chance. They were created for very extreme weather, severe frost, snow and ice. The lightweight polar construction, high cut and emphasis on insulation keep the foot warm and dry even in very demanding conditions.
The basis is a lightweight polar construction designed for very low temperatures. The high cut protects the ankle and lower calf, while the reinforced toe increases toe protection. The whole thing looks robust, but when worn remains surprisingly light and easy to handle in the field.
The rubber sole with a rough pattern bites into the snow and holds even on slippery surfaces. Stability when walking on ice or trampled snow is noticeable from the first step. The sole also insulates well from the cold surface and limits the cooling of the foot.
Two straps with buckles allow precise adjustment of the foot circumference. The upper collar on the ankle with a drawstring closes the shoe against cold, wind, snow and small dirt. Thanks to this, the inside remains protected even during long stays outdoors.
A removable felt insole ensures thermal comfort and is coated with a foil that protects against moisture and dirt. This makes the inside of the shoe better able to withstand heavy use and is also easy to maintain.
