Holosun® AEMS MACRO RD Enclosed Pistol Reflex Sight

The Holosun AEMS MACRO RD is a full-size enclosed pistol reflex sight with a large 0.9 × 0.9" viewing window and a red Multi-Reticle System. It allows the user to select a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a circle-dot combination. Automatic brightness control, Solar Failsafe, Shake Awake, memory, and Lockout Mode support reliable operation, while the enclosed 7075-T6 aluminum housing protects the emitter from moisture, dust, and debris.

Selectable Multi-Reticle System

The Multi-Reticle System offers three reticle options: a precise 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a combination of both. This allows the sight picture to be adapted for precise aiming or faster target acquisition.

Large 0.9 × 0.9" Viewing Window

The viewing window measures 0.9 × 0.9", approximately 23 × 23 mm. Its expanded viewing area provides a wide sight picture and helps the shooter acquire the reticle quickly. The enclosed construction protects the emitter from moisture, dust, and other debris that could obstruct the light path in an open reflex sight.

Automatic and Manual Brightness Control

A forward-facing light sensor automatically adjusts the reticle intensity to changing ambient light conditions. Manual adjustment is also available, offering 8 daytime brightness settings and 4 settings compatible with night vision devices. Lockout Mode prevents accidental changes to the selected settings.

Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake

Solar Failsafe uses the integrated solar panel to supplement battery power. Shake Awake places the electronics into sleep mode after a period of inactivity and reactivates the sight when movement is detected. The memory function restores the previously selected settings.

Side-Loading Battery with Up to 100,000 Hours of Runtime

The sight is powered by a CR1632 battery housed in a side-loading tray, allowing it to be replaced without removing the optic from the pistol. Depending on the selected brightness and reticle settings, battery life can reach up to 100,000 hours.

7075-T6 Aluminum Housing

The housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and protected by a hard-anodized finish. The sight is rated IPX8 for water resistance and withstands vibration loads of up to 5,000 G. Elevation and windage adjustments provide a range of ±50 MOA, with each click corresponding to 0.5 MOA.

509T Footprint and RMR Adapter

The sight uses the Holosun 509T mounting footprint. An RMR-to-509T adapter plate is included for installation on a compatible RMR mounting interface. The package also contains a multi-tool, lens cloth, user manual, and warranty card.

Dimensions and Weight

The sight measures approximately 41.1 × 30.5 × 35.6 mm and weighs approximately 70.9 g. Its larger dimensions and viewing window make it particularly suitable for pistols where maximum visibility and fast reticle acquisition are priorities.
