G.I.S.® CSR9 Carbine Suppressor / 9×19 mm

The G.I.S. CSR9 is a lightweight suppressor designed for 9×19 mm carbines, pistol-caliber carbines and submachine guns. Its hard-anodized 7075 aluminum construction reduces weight at the muzzle, while the fully user-serviceable design allows the baffles to be removed for thorough cleaning or replacement. An interchangeable thread adapter matches the suppressor to the firearm’s muzzle thread.

Lightweight Construction for 9×19 mm Platforms

The CSR9 is intended primarily for sporting and recreational use on 9×19 mm firearms. Its aluminum construction keeps the suppressor lighter than the steel CSR9 WB Steel, reducing the additional weight and leverage at the muzzle.

Effective Sound Reduction

The suppressor reduces muzzle blast and the overall sound signature of the firearm. For higher firing schedules and extended burst or automatic fire, the manufacturer recommends the more durable steel version.

Fully User-Serviceable Design

After removal from the firearm, the CSR9 can be completely disassembled and its internal baffles removed. This provides direct access to carbon and combustion deposits and allows worn or damaged internal components to be replaced when necessary. A disassembly tool is included.

Interchangeable Thread Adapter

The mounting interface uses a replaceable thread adapter selected for the firearm’s muzzle thread. This allows the suppressor system to accommodate different barrel configurations when fitted with the appropriate adapter.

Best Performance with Subsonic Ammunition

The manufacturer recommends subsonic ammunition for the greatest reduction in perceived sound. A suppressor reduces muzzle blast but cannot eliminate the ballistic crack produced when a projectile travels faster than the speed of sound.
