The Essential Pack MKII from Tasmanian Tiger is a robust all-purpose daypack for use in the field or in the city. Thanks to the extensive MOLLE compatible webbing, it allows the attachment of pouches and other accessories.
Due to its volume, this single-chamber model is particularly suitable for one-day transfers, training, trips, or on the way to work. Thanks to the material used, it is resistant to mechanical damage and can withstand use in demanding conditions. Members of the armed forces will appreciate the IRR coating to reduce reflection in the infrared spectrum (IRR 650 nm - 1250 nm / 10 - 42 %; camouflage in front of IRR night vision devices).
Access to the storage space is secured by a high-quality zipper with a cover over half the circumference. Inside you will find enough space for a spare jacket, something to eat and a bottle of water. If you prefer a hydration bag, you can put it in your back pocket and take the drinking hose out through the prepared opening. The adjustable shoulder straps and back are pleasantly padded and, thanks to the mesh surface, sufficiently ventilated. For better anchoring on the back during active movement, a height-adjustable chest strap can be used. You can carry the backpack over shorter distances using the reinforced handle in the upper part. A large part of the front side is covered with a MOLLE-compatible webbing, with which various pouches and other compatible accessories can be attached to the backpack. There are two compression straps with a quick release buckle in the front, which you can use to reduce its volume, but they are also suitable for fastening a jacket. A useful accessory is the front velcro panel for placing the ID tag.
