The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount is a rechargeable weapon light for long guns, delivering up to 2,000 lumens with a beam distance of 266 m. It uses a 4,900 mAh SL-B50 Li-ion battery that can be charged via USB-C inside or outside the light. TEN-TAP programming provides three selectable mode configurations, while the mounting system supports MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails and compatible M-LOK handguards.
High mode produces 2,000 lumens and 17,700 candela, with a beam distance of up to 266 m and a runtime of approximately 2.5 hours. Low mode provides 250 lumens and 2,150 candela, reaching up to 93 m with a runtime of approximately 11 hours. The strobe mode operates for up to 4.5 hours.
The TEN-TAP system allows the user to select one of three operating programs: High / Strobe, High Only or Low / High. The factory-default configuration is High / Strobe.
The tailcap push-button switch supports both momentary-on and constant-on activation. The System version also includes a remote pressure switch for operating the light directly from the firearm’s grip area.
Power is supplied by a protected Streamlight SL-B50 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 4,900 mAh. The battery can be charged through USB-C while installed in the light or separately after removal. A complete charge takes approximately six hours.
The weapon light mounts directly to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. An M-LOK mount is also included for attachment to a compatible handguard without adding a separate Picatinny rail section.
The body is machined from 6000-series aluminum and protected by a Type II military-specification anodized finish. The glass lens has an anti-reflective coating, while O-ring seals help protect the internal components. The light is impact tested from a height of 2 m.
With the standard tailcap switch installed, the light is rated IP67, providing complete protection against dust and resistance to immersion in water to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes. With the remote pressure switch attached, the assembly is rated IPX4 for resistance to splashing water.
The light measures approximately 16 cm in length and weighs around 257 g with the SL-B50 battery installed.
