ESP® ExB-18H 18″ Hardened Expandable Baton, Black, with BH-54 360° Holster

The ESP ExB-18H 18″ Hardened Expandable Baton is designed for professional duty use. Its hardened telescoping steel shafts provide high resistance to bending, while the Friction Lock mechanism secures the baton in the extended position through tapered friction surfaces. The textured Type H rubber grip supports secure handling. A BH-54 rotating holster with the Quick Change system is included.

Hardened Construction for Duty Use

The hardened telescoping steel shafts are designed to provide high mechanical strength and resistance to bending. The baton measures 450 mm when extended and 180 mm when collapsed. Its weight is 370 g.

Friction Lock Mechanism

A rapid swing extends the telescoping shafts and locks their tapered contact surfaces together through friction. The baton is collapsed by releasing the lock with a vertical strike of the tip against a hard, solid surface.

Textured Type H Rubber Grip

The Type H rubber grip features a pronounced non-slip texture that promotes a secure hold and reduces the risk of the baton being pulled from the user’s hand. According to the manufacturer, the rubber compound is certified for prolonged skin contact.

Black Nickel-Zinc Finish

The steel components are protected by a black nickel-zinc finish that provides good abrasion resistance while maintaining the baton’s discreet black appearance.

BH-54 360° Rotating Holster

The included BH-54 polymer holster features a UBC-05 belt clip and the Quick Change system. It can be rotated through 360° without tools and secured in 16 positions to suit different carry preferences. The Quick Change interface allows a compatible holster to be replaced while the belt clip remains attached.
