The IX8 1–8×28 FFP LPVO riflescope from Integrix® combines the speed of a red dot sight with the precision of magnified optics for short- to medium-range engagements. At 1× magnification it allows rapid target acquisition, while higher magnification provides a detailed sight picture for precise shooting at longer distances. High-quality optical glass, rugged construction, and a well-designed reticle make it a dependable optic for AR-pattern carbines and similar platforms.
The riflescope features a variable magnification range that allows shooters to transition quickly between close-range and mid-range engagements. At the lowest magnification, the optic behaves similarly to a red dot sight, enabling fast and intuitive target acquisition. Higher magnification levels provide greater detail and improved precision when engaging targets at longer distances. This versatility is a defining characteristic of LPVO optics used for tactical and dynamic shooting.
The reticle is positioned in the first focal plane (FFP), meaning its size changes proportionally with magnification. This ensures that ballistic reference marks remain accurate at any magnification level. The reticle is etched directly into the glass, providing clear reference points for elevation and windage holds while still allowing rapid target acquisition at lower magnifications.
The M3 MRAD reticle is designed for both fast target engagement and precise shot correction. A prominent circular element around the center helps guide the eye for rapid target acquisition at low magnification. Fine MRAD-based hash marks allow precise ballistic holds and corrections without the need to adjust the turrets.
The MRAD designation indicates that all reticle references are based on milliradian units, a measurement system widely used in tactical and precision shooting. The reticle incorporates reference marks for range estimation and wind holds, enabling shooters to make quick corrections directly through the optic. Because the reticle is etched into the glass and positioned in the first focal plane, its proportions remain consistent across the entire magnification range.
The optic uses premium optical glass from SCHOTT and OHARA, ensuring excellent light transmission and image clarity. Multi-coated lenses minimize glare and reflections while improving contrast. The result is a bright, sharp image with consistent detail across the entire field of view.
The riflescope body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished with a durable protective coating. The sealed construction provides protection against water and environmental exposure. The optic is also designed to withstand significant recoil, making it suitable for use with more powerful calibers.
The riflescope features clearly defined windage and elevation turrets for precise adjustments. A large throw lever on the magnification ring allows quick magnification changes even while wearing gloves. The illuminated reticle improves visibility in low-light conditions and offers multiple brightness levels for different environments.
