US company Leatherman® was founded by Timothy S. Leatherman in Portland,Oregon in 1983, when they( altogether with friend Steve Berliner) started developing multitool called Pocket Survival. Leatherman, who studied mechanical engineering on Oregon State University, created a company that followed success of Pocket Survival by developing new products and nowdays company produce dozens of products. 

In addition to multi-tools, Leatherman® also offers sheaths and pouches for them. Even know, these sheaths are designed for Leatherman® knives and multitools, they can be used universally, of course considering the size.The main material used is densely woven and durable nylon and important fact is, that they are MOLLE system compatible. 

Leatherman® sheaths and pouches can be worn both horizontally and vertically and they close with velcro flap. Each sheath has a Leatherman® logo. In addition to sheaths and pouches we can also find another Leatherman® products such as multitools or for example accessories such as bit kit replacement.
