When the going gets tough, you need a knife that won't let you down. The Morakniv Bushcraft Expert BlackBlade SRT can handle shelter construction, wood preparation and game processing – all while fitting perfectly in your hand. Durable blade, sharp teeth, non-slip grip. Nothing more needed.
This blade is not easily rattled. It's made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, cold-rolled and hardened to a hardness of HRC 57-58. This makes it suitable for more demanding tasks in the field and keeps it sharp longer than standard knives. In addition, the top part of the blade works as a striker for a magnesium fire starter – so you can start a fire even when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Clean cut? Sure. But when it comes to tougher materials, the serrated edge comes into play. Ideal for wood, ropes or tough plastic. The blade also has a protective black coating that fights corrosion – so the knife can withstand long-term exposure to rain, snow, or salty water.
When your fingers start slipping, it can be a matter of safety. That's why the Bushcraft Expert has a handle made of hard plastic covered with soft non-slip rubber. It fits in your hand even during prolonged work and the shaped guard protects your fingers from slipping onto the blade. This ensures confident and safe handling – even when you're cold, wet, and gloveless.
The knife comes with a durable nylon sheath. Attachment via the MOLLE system allows quick and secure fastening to a backpack or vest. Thanks to the thumb rest, the knife can be drawn quickly, even when every second counts. Nothing wobbles, nothing clicks – everything holds as it should.
