The Manta Defense M27IAR Kit has been selected by the United States Marine Corps as a standard part of the new M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle. The Manta M27IAR Kit set of covers will reliably cover the Picatinny rail of the Heckler & Koch HK416 rifle variant, which was specially designated as "M27" (IAR) by the United States Marine Corps.
The designation "M27" is a tribute to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, the unit that came up with the original concept of the infantry automatic rifle.
The Manta M27IAR Kit set of covers consists of one piece of the Micro Pocket Switch Holder cover, which allows easy mounting of the pressure switch anywhere on the rail; Wire Clips Manta covers, which facilitate the management and routing of cables; and the Manta Low Profile Rail Guard covers for cable routing, which enable cable routing and management. And lastly, there is the Manta Vertical Grip Sleeves cap for optional placement of the pressure switch on the handle.
All Picatinny rail guards and Manta wire routing accessories provide great support in the grip and withstand the extreme heat generated during sustained or automatic fire. The top rail cover helps eliminate hot air ripples in the scope image created by the heat from the barrel.
Heat transfer from rail to hand is a thing of the past with Manta rail guards. All Manta products are made from revolutionary materials that resist extreme heat, chemicals and abrasion. All components included in this kit are standard equipment for the United States Marine Corps and militaries around the world.
