Engraving using laser technology represents the perfect processing of an inscription or graphic both from a technical and aesthetic point of view. This modern laser technology is based on vaporization of the material to a depth of micrometers. With laser engraving, it is possible to create a detailed ornament, inscription or logo on the surface of the material. It was with this technology that we engraved the symbol of the Czech lion onto the PMAG magazine.
Nowadays, the term Czech lion is understood as "a silver two-tailed lion leaping with a golden crown and golden armor". The lion as a symbol of Bohemia (it once represented all the lands of the Czech Crown) has appeared since the 13th century, during the reign of Přemysl Otakar I. It was preceded in a similar meaning by a one-tailed lion (the reasons for the addition of the second tail were never clearly explained), which replaced the Přemysl black flame (St. Wenceslas) eagle on a silver field. Nowadays, the Czech lion is perceived as a symbol of patriotism and love for the Czech land.
