Engraving using laser technology represents the perfect processing of an inscription or graphic both from a technical and aesthetic point of view. This modern laser technology is based on vaporization of the material to a depth of micrometers. With laser engraving, it is possible to create a detailed ornament, inscription or logo on the surface of the material. It was with this technology that we engraved the Molón labe logo onto the PMAG magazine.
"Molón labe!" is a call that has its origin in Greek, more precisely at the time when the city-state of Sparta was attacked by the Persian army of the ruler Xerxes I. This call was made famous by the Battle of Thermopylae, where the Spartan king Leonidas I with his 300 elite comrades and hundreds of other Greeks stood up the vast superiority of the Persian soldiers. The conflict was incredibly bloody and the Spartans held out for a long time against overwhelming odds. However, even before the battle, the Persians called on them to surrender and lay down their arms. It was at this moment that the famous cry of Molon Labe was born, which means "come and take them!".
