Rigad Olomouc Reopens After Renovation — Modern Store and Upcoming Medical Training

The Rigad Olomouc store has reopened to customers following an extensive renovation. The most significant change is the new layout: equipment that was previously spread across two floors has now been fully relocated to a modernized and expanded ground floor. Customers can now find everything—tactical, outdoor, gear, and medical equipment—clearly organized in one place.

The renovation focused on expanding the retail area, creating a more modern look, improving clarity, and enhancing overall accessibility of the assortment. The new layout allows for faster orientation and a more comfortable shopping experience for both professionals and civilian customers.

A Specialized Medical Training Center Is Being Built Upstairs

While the ground floor now serves exclusively as a retail space, the upper floor of the store is currently being adapted into a dedicated training center. In cooperation with instructors from Elite Center Lhenice, Rigad will host accredited medical training courses here.

Which Courses Will Be Offered in Olomouc?

Three key first aid and tactical medicine courses will be held at the new Olomouc location. All courses are led by certified instructors with real-world experience in the military, police, or emergency medical services.

🔵 DoD Stop the Bleed

Massive hemorrhage is one of the leading causes of preventable death after trauma—and minutes often make the difference. The DoD Stop the Bleed course, accredited by the United States Department of Defense and the Combat Casualty Care Research Program, prepares participants to manage life-threatening bleeding in everyday situations.

• Duration: 4 hours
• Target audience: general public and professionals
• Focus: hands-on training, tourniquet use, pressure techniques, improvisation
• Prerequisites: none

🔵 NAEMT FOTS – First On The Scene

NAEMT FOTS is an official program of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. It focuses on managing critical situations in pre-hospital care—what happens before professional responders arrive.

• Duration: 8 hours
• Target audience: civilians, fire service, EMS, armed forces, security personnel
• Format: theory + practical drills + scenario-based training
• Instructors: experienced members of the Czech Armed Forces, Police, and EMS

👉 Participants learn the fundamentals of emergency care, scene safety, use of improvised tools, and correct assessment of urgent medical conditions.

🔵 NAEMT TCCC – All Service Members

The Tactical Combat Casualty Care – All Service Members course is a 7-hour program based on official military TCCC standards for individual service members. Training is delivered exclusively by certified NAEMT/TCCC military instructors to ensure full procedural accuracy and authenticity.

• Duration: 7 hours
• Target audience: armed forces, security services, self-defense students, advanced users
• Focus: care in combat environments, stress management, minimal equipment, practical drills
• Content: 10 instructional modules following the official NAEMT curriculum
