Magpul® M-LOK® Thumb Shelf

The Magpul M-LOK Thumb Shelf is a compact thumb indexing point designed for compatible aluminum M-LOK handguards. It provides a consistent thumb position for the support hand, promoting repeatable grip placement and improved firearm control while occupying only a single M-LOK slot.

Designed for Aluminum M-LOK Handguards

The Thumb Shelf is designed for compatible octagonal aluminum M-LOK handguards. It is not compatible with polymer M-LOK handguards or handguards with wide, flat mounting surfaces. Installation requires only a single M-LOK slot, preserving valuable rail space for lights, sling mounts, switches, and other accessories.

Consistent Thumb Placement

The contoured thumb shelf features a textured surface that provides a positive indexing point for the support-hand thumb. This promotes repeatable hand placement and improved control during shooting, recoil management, and weapon manipulation. The fully ambidextrous design can be installed on either side of the handguard to suit individual shooting preferences.

Compact and Durable Construction

Molded from Magpul's high-strength polymer, the Thumb Shelf offers excellent durability with minimal added weight. Measuring approximately 1.55 in (39 mm) in length and weighing approximately 11 g, including mounting hardware, it is particularly well suited for shorter handguards where mounting space is at a premium.
