Note: Never use honing oil on diamond sharpeners, as it may clog the pores of the diamond surface, resulting in a smooth surface and thus making it non-functional. Clean the sharpener with water and wipe shavings with a lint-free cloth. The sharpener should be completely dry before the next use.
