The JRC brand (also known as JRC Fishing) is a British specialist in fishing equipment. It was established in 1992 in Hatfield Peverel, Essex, and focuses on the development and production of products for demanding anglers who have high requirements for practicality and reliability.
Over three decades ago, the company JRC Fishing was founded by David Rudin, William Jelbart, Jeffrey Powell, and John Campbell. They were the first to introduce the Cocoon and Stealth folding beds to the market, which gained attention from a wide range of customers due to their excellent combination of comfort and durability. A little later, the assortment was expanded with additional products including the STI Brolly bivvies, Quad and Skyliner rods, and bite alarms. However, for our purposes, the chairs and beds, which are also available in Rigadu's offerings, are crucial. Since 2007, JRC Fishing has been part of Pure Fishing Inc., based in Alnwick, Northumberland. However, the changes in ownership have not negatively impacted the company's direction. JRC also offers a wide range of other equipment for carp anglers. This includes rods and reels in the compact Rova series, bivvies and shelters, beds and sleeping bags, bags and covers, and tools and accessories. A specialty in JRC's offerings is the Contact Terminal Tackle series, featuring hooks with a Teflon coating, leaders, and other components for assembling reliable rigs. The design and testing of these products were conducted in collaboration with fishing specialists, specifically professional carp anglers. As a result, they meet demanding quality requirements. The same applies to the mentioned chairs and beds.
