The Safariland Incog X IWB RDS is an inside-the-waistband holster designed for concealed carry of Glock 43X and Glock 48 pistols with or without a red dot sight. Developed in collaboration with Haley Strategic Partners, it combines a thermoformed Boltaron shell with a microfiber suede exterior, adjustable passive retention and a configurable belt-clip system. The design allows the holster to be tailored to the user's carry position while providing clearance for a full firing grip before the draw.
This right-handed version is designed for Glock 43X and Glock 48 pistols and accommodates both micro and full-size red dot sights. The sight channel measures 0.406" (approximately 10.3 mm) in height to provide clearance for compatible optics. Variant INCOG-0-895-A-0-CX2-61 is designed for pistols without a weapon-mounted light.
The Incog X uses passive retention around the trigger guard and ejection port areas to secure the pistol in the holster. Retention can be adjusted to achieve the preferred balance between security and draw resistance. The holster is designed to support multiple IWB carry positions while allowing the shooter to establish a full firing grip before drawing the pistol.
The holster shell is made from thermoformed Boltaron, a durable material resistant to impact, abrasion and chemicals. Its exterior is wrapped in microfiber suede, providing a softer surface against the body and helping improve comfort during extended concealed carry.
The belt clips can be paired with interchangeable concealment shims in three thicknesses: 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8". These allow the position of the holster relative to the body to be fine-tuned and can help reduce printing under a cover garment. The shims can be installed or removed without tools. Flexible tabs on the polymer belt clips make it easier to attach and remove the holster from the belt.
This configuration is supplied without a spare magazine carrier. The Incog X platform can be expanded with the optional Mag Caddy, which provides adjustable magazine retention and allows the carry setup to be configured with a spare magazine alongside the pistol.
