Black Diamond® Cosmo 350 Headlamp

The Black Diamond Cosmo 350 Headlamp combines a compact design with a maximum output of 350 lumens and straightforward two-button controls. It provides adjustable white light for general illumination, a red night-vision mode, and multiple power options for outdoor activities, travel, and everyday use.

Dual-Fuel Power Options

Dual-Fuel compatibility allows the Cosmo 350 to run on three AAA batteries or a rechargeable Black Diamond BD 1500 lithium-ion battery, which is sold separately. The BD 1500 battery must be removed from the headlamp and charged in a compatible USB-C charger. The ability to switch between disposable and rechargeable batteries provides greater flexibility on longer trips and in locations without reliable access to charging.

White Light and Red Night Vision

The headlamp delivers up to 350 lumens, while a multifaceted optical-efficiency lens provides a controlled and consistent beam. Available settings include adjustable brightness, strobe, and red night vision. The red LED has independent dimming and strobe settings and can be activated directly with the second button without cycling through the white-light modes.

The maximum beam distance is approximately 64 m at full output, 45 m at medium output, and 10 m at the lowest setting.

IPX8 Waterproof Construction

The Cosmo 350 carries an IPX8 waterproof rating and is tested for operation after immersion in at least 1.1 m of water for 30 minutes. Water may enter the battery compartment during immersion without preventing the headlamp from operating. After exposure to water, the battery compartment and batteries should be thoroughly dried before storage or further use.

Lockout and Battery-Level Indicator

A digital lockout helps prevent accidental activation while the headlamp is stored in a backpack, pocket, or equipment case. The integrated battery meter displays the remaining charge as a percentage, making it easier to determine when the AAA batteries should be replaced or the rechargeable battery recharged.
